Colored Rice

I had been wanting to try this for awhile and we had a play date scheduled so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity. I bought a 10 lb bag of rice, some food coloring and hand sanitizer and got to work. It didn't turn out quite as bright as the tutorial, but I used less liquid because I was worried about it drying quickly. The kids loved it and so did their friends! Harrison's friend thought it was awesome and asked him where it came from. I overheard Harrison telling him "My mom made it, she got the idea on Pinterest." How funny is that?!
