Sleepy Time
Landry has started taking more and more stuffed animals and dolls to bed with her. I had to snap a picture because there is hardly room for her in her crib. The funny part is that if one of them is missing she will notice and ask me to go get them. She loves them all!

Happy Birthday Landry!
My baby girl will be 2 years old this week. We had her party a little early, so she is already telling everyone that she is two. She was so excited about her party outfit, especially the Twinkle Toes shoes she got from Grandma and Granddad. A special thanks to Granddad for taking these pictures. I was so preoccupied with the party, I didn't take any!
Playing with her friends.
Blowing out the candles. She did it all by herself!
Enjoying her strawberry ice cream.
She was so excited for the pinata.

Harrison finally broke open the pinata. He was excited!

New Year. New Do.
I finally broke down and got Landry her first hair cut. She didn't technically need one, but the way her hair was growing in, it was looking more like a mullet than anything else. The stylist assured me that it would look much better in a cute bob. Landry wasn't so sure...
The result. I think it looks really cute.
I keep trying to put bows in her hair, but she will not have it. She ripped this out in 10 seconds.
She prefers that I wear the bow in my hair.

Happy New Year!
It has become a tradition for us to get the kids a pinata on New Years Eve. I started thinking about it, and it actually started in 2008. Of course I had to go back and reminiscence. Here are the pictures from the past few years.
2008 (Kansas) - The inaugural pinata with Scout, Jersey and Lindsey

2009 (Kansas) - We actually took a break from partying because I was pregnant with Landry. They had some concerns about her growth, so I was on bed rest and we were running to the hospital quite often for Non-Stress Tests.
2010 (Pennsylvania) - We celebrated with the Alexanders. For the full post, click here.
2011 (Oklahoma) - We celebrated with our new neighbors. They have been so welcoming to us and it has been such a blessing that our kids love to play together outside all the time. This year I even made my own pinata. Yet again, I found the idea on Pinterest. What did I ever do without that website?!
