Colored Rice

I had been wanting to try this for awhile and we had a play date scheduled so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity. I bought a 10 lb bag of rice, some food coloring and hand sanitizer and got to work. It didn't turn out quite as bright as the tutorial, but I used less liquid because I was worried about it drying quickly. The kids loved it and so did their friends! Harrison's friend thought it was awesome and asked him where it came from. I overheard Harrison telling him "My mom made it, she got the idea on Pinterest." How funny is that?! Bath time

Harrison and Landry rarely get to take a bath together because Landry goes to bed so early, so they were enjoying some fun in the bath tub. The photo was even cuter when you could see them kicking their feet and splashing, but I didn't think I needed to post the full view on the internet. :)

Checking email

Snow!

We finally got enough snow in Tulsa to actually play in (although it still wasn't much). The kids were super excited! The snowman below was made by our neighbors but we joined in the picture.

Heartbreaker

I needed to get a picture of Harrison to put on his Valentine cards, so I convinced him to let me take a few shots of him today. He was surprisingly cooperative and even went along (somewhat) with my requests. I took these in about 2 minutes, but I think I did a pretty good job of capturing him.

I love his serious look because I think he looks so much like his Dad.
I may or may not have been making fart noises when I took this picture. If you have seen me photograph kids, you know that I have no shame. :)
On this one I told him to give me a tough guy face.
Then I asked him to give me a serious face and this is what I got. Love it! This is my favorite because it is just so Harrison.
